BALTIMORE, Maryland –Driven by passion to give voices to the voiceless, VoiceBox Media, a nonprofit news service based out of Austin, Texas, will be in Baltimore Friday – Tuesday telling the stories of those who are turning #BaltimoreRiots into #BaltimoreUprising. The VoiceBox Media team will be focusing their efforts on the positive impact these changemakers are creating within their communities, as well as related stories that they may run across in their interviews.
Stories written by VBM’s journalists will be published on our website and will be available for media outlets to use as content to publish or distribute.
“We’re creating this content for the sole purpose of being distributed to as many readers and viewers as possible,” said Holly Wise, founder and CEO of VoiceBox Media. “We invite your media outlet to republish the material you deem relevant to your audience.”
We ask that the byline is accredited with the journalist who wrote the piece, as well as credit to VoiceBox Media and a link to the site. A story budget with upcoming stories along with multimedia content is available via email at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16 through Tuesday, May 19.
We expect to update our website with new material at 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. during the dates that our team will be in Baltimore.
