It’s Holly here, and wow, what a whirlwind of activity the past month has held for VoiceBox Media. I’m looking at my calendar at all the fabulous opportunities we’ve had recently to evangelize our mission.
As you know, we spent March 16 and 17 in Houston and Dallas respectively. I’ve just returned from a quick 5-day trip to Kentucky where Brooke and I were able to present VoiceBox Media to a small group of individuals at our alma mater, Murray State University. It was so great to talk to the people who came and to hear their ideas for advancing VBM’s mission.
I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from people everywhere I went. The support is exhilarating and humbling.
I’m spending the next two days getting ready for my trip to Haiti as the team and I are leaving Austin early (very early) Thursday morning. To say I’m looking forward to telling this story is an understatement. I’m absolutely thrilled. To recap – I’m traveling with a team of seven Americans with the Austin-based E412 Foundation. They will be volunteering with the Haiti Healthcare Advocates in Desallines.
I’ll be mostly absent from the Internet April 4 to the 15th. Brooke will be handling our social media. I’ll send her text messages from Haiti, so be sure and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with my trip.
Thank you all for cheering us on.
